Proper Prescribing - Rural Physician Summit

Topic: “Proper Prescribing Update 2023”

Speaker: Cori Loomis, Esq.

Course Objectives:

After attending the activity, the physician should be able to:

  1. Understand the requirements of Oklahoma laws pertaining to CDS prescribing; and
  2. Comprehend federal laws such as the Controlled Substances Act and others; and
  3. Review and be able to implement CDC prescribing tapering and ODS guidance; and
  4. Be aware of recent enforcement trends & developments related to prescribing.
