AMA SECTIONS


Resident/Fellow Section

This is an extremely valuable resource that the AMA has created for resident physicians, which covers such topics as the USMLE, Match process, residency rotations, selecting a specialty, financial management, CV and interview preparation, specialty board certification, credentialing, medical licensure, preparing for practice and much more.  

The Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) of the Oklahoma State Medical Association includes approximately 600 OSMA-member MD and DO resident and fellow physicians receiving their post-graduate medical training in Oklahoma. 


Organized Medical Staff Section (OMSS) 
The Organized Medical Staff Section is the Section of the OSMA that is the advocate, voice and resource for physicians who are members of a hospitals’ medical staff.  The OSMA through its Organized Medical Staff Section, can provide resources to guide medical staffs through the process of implementing the new bylaws and regulations.


Medical Student Section
The AMA Medical Student Section (MSS) strives to be medical students' voice within the AMA for improving medical education and advocating for the future of medicine.
