The OSMA Foundation was established in 1991 to promote the betterment of public health through scientific and medical research, both directly and by the application of assets to the use of individuals for scientific and medical research, or to any corporation, trust, fund or foundation whose purposes and operations are scientific, educational, or charitable.

PAST - PRESENT - FUTURE

OSMA Foundation successfully funded a number of scientific and educational initiatives, including Obesity Screening Awareness, Smoke-Free Families, Oklahoma Health Professionals Program, Continuing Medical Educations, and programs for Medical Students and Residents to help them as they transition from clinical training to professional practices.

The Foundation is looking to the future and wants your input on ideas and programs to support.

Our areas of interest include:

Betterment of Public Health through Scientific and Medical Research
Charitable Healthcare Delivery and Research
Communication Initiatives for the Medical Community
Physician’s Health and Education through OHPP and Continuing Medical Educations (“CME”)
Programs for Medical Students and Residents

Please share your ideas for a strong OSMA Foundation. We are looking for ways to continue our support and enhance the professional knowledge and skills of Oklahoma physicians and their patients. We also welcome input on assistance or support for OSMA members with personal or professional issues.
