Supreme Court Takes Step in Managed Care Organization Injunction Request
In response to OSMA and other health partner organization’s
February 11 request for an injunction
to halt the Oklahoma Health Care Authority’s (OHCA) effort to contract with Managed Care Organizations for claims management administration services, the Supreme Court has
issued an order
requesting OHCA respond to the injunction request by March 15th. The Plaintiffs (OSMA, ODA, OOA, OSA and AAP Oklahoma Chapter) will then have the opportunity to reply to the response by March 25th. To summarize, the Court wants more information before they decide on the case. OSMA will remain diligent in our efforts to stop Medicaid Managed Care!
