Pre-Election Report Now Available
Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Before you go to the polls, be sure to look up your candidates in OMPAC’s
Pre-Election Guide
.
Your patients and practice are impacted daily by policy decisions made at the Capitol. That’s why OMPAC distributes this non-partisan election report to all members of the Oklahoma State Medical Association every two years. The Report provides timely information concerning the upcoming general election, clarifies OMPAC’s decisions on contributions and helps Oklahoma physicians support OMPAC’s efforts to elect pro-medicine candidates.
The criteria for being a pro-medicine candidate encompasses more than one issue. In fact, a wide range of issues, such as scope of practice, legal reform, Medicaid reimbursement and public health are considered by OMPAC.
