Medicine Day 2019
The Oklahoma State Medical Association's annual Medicine Day was a great success! Over 100 physicians and medical students met with legislators at the Capitol and later, the OSMA, to discuss ways to create better health for Oklahoma.
Medicine Day is an annual event where you – as an OSMA member – has an opportunity to meet one-on-one or in a group with your legislators and let your medical voice be heard. If you have questions about Medicine Day 2019 or Medicine Day 2020, please contact OSMA Director of Government Affairs, Matt Robison.
View the bills OSMA supports and opposes in this 2019 Medicine Day Legislative Information sheet. Highlighted topics are:
- Rural access to quality health care
- Pill limits/opioid crisis
- Scope of practice
- Accepting federal funds
- Public health
