Medical Student Picnic
OSMA Welcomes New Student Members
Nearly 200 first-year medical students, faculty, OSMA physicians and guests attended the annual Medical Student Reception Wednesday, August 12th. The reception was held at the Oklahoma City Zoo in Oklahoma City.
Students were offered four year discounted memberships in the AMA/OSMA, sponsored through a donation by the OSMA Foundation. Students also received their choice of Netter’s Anatomy Flash Cards for an iPod, Netter’s Flash Cards, and dissection kits, provided by the American Medical Association.
A short program featured the Medical Student President Neda Sadeghi and included OSMA President, Kent King, MD and Dewayne Andrews, MD, Executive Dean of the OU College of Medicine.
Sponsors included the AMA, the OSMA Foundation, PLICO, and Ratcliffe’s Books.
