Oklahoma has always been a "unified" state, requiring membership in the three branches of the federation of medicine - county, state and national AMA. Oklahoma physicians believe there is strength in unity, and unity begins within a physician's own community in the local county society.

Member Benefits
In addition to the professional liability and health insurance services offered through companies, Physicians Liability Insurance Company (PLICO) and OSMA Health, the OSMA represents physicians effectively at our state capitol and in Washington, DC. The OSMA also serves the interests of physicians and their patients through our various Councils and Committees.
Member Services (Preferred Associates)
We are constantly searching for relationships with vendors who can provide services and/or products to OSMA members at a reduced cost. These relationships also benefit the OSMA through direct non-dues income and in-kind services.
